Interviews
In an effort to support the information in this website concerning the existing debate about Spain's historical memory, I conducted some interviews to Spaniards who reside in the area of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. The interviewees (two men and two women) are from different ages and with different backgrounds. The questions that were used were varied and tried to target the most relevant and debating aspects of the current issue. The questions used are:

- Cuando escucha el nombre de Franco, ¿qué viene a su pensamiento?
- ¿Tiene conocimiento de los familiares suyos que participaron en la guerra del 36 o que vivieron la reconstruccción y el franquismo?
- ¿Cuál es su memoria de niño del franquismo? ¿cuando era niño, en su casa se hablaba de la guerra civil y/o de Franco?
- ¿Cree necesario la recuperación de la memoria histórica? ¿qué piensa que la ley de la memoria histórica?
- ¿Cree usted que España está reconciliada? ¿Por qué sí o por qué no?
- ¿Cómo cree que este problema de la memoria afecte a las nuevas generaciones?
