There is no doubt that this project had a great impact in my learning and professional development, however, this positive outcome would not have been possible without the help of several people that, in one way or another, contributed to the learning experience of creating this course concerning the issue of Spain's Historical Memory.
I would like first to thank the committee chair, Professor Jordi Marí for his interest in working with me on this project, and for his advice, feedback and support through the process of developing the course. I also would like to thank the committee members, Professor Diana Arbaiza and Professor Shelley Garrigan, for their interest in being part of this committee and all their input on the project. Also, I would like to thank the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature for the terrific experience I had pursuing the Master's Degree.
Furthermore, I would like to thank all the people who voluntarily participated in the conducted interviews. Professor Jordi Marí and Professor Diana Arbaiza from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at NCSU; Cristina Carrasco, from the Department of Romance Languages and Literature in UNC-Chapel Hill and Mr. Sindo Amago.
Additionally, I would like to thank all the project reviewers for taking the time and being willing to contribute with the project: Leyda Lugo-Morales, Kelsey Binggeli, Kaila Straub, Vanessa Puñal and Isabel Velasco Trujillo.
Finally, I would like to thank all my family and friends for their unconditional support, not only with this project, but throughout my whole graduate student path. I would like to give special thanks to my wife Leyda Lugo-Morales. Thank you for being there no matter what; without you all this would not be possible.
